Superiority of fuzzy AHP-VIKOR approach in an agile environment

Agile manufacturing (AM) system focuses on the customised production with shorter lead time in a cost effective manner. Conceptual design is vital phase of product development and AM obliges towards it. Selecting appropriate conceptual often involves consideration multiple factors, multi criteria decision making (MCDM) techniques facilitates resolving this problem. In study, hybrid fuzzy analytical hierarchical process (AHP) VIKOR approach was used for selecting best instrument panel (IP). The article various concept designs IP considering recent technological aspects. Appropriate agile were identified through several brainstorming sessions conducted among stakeholders organisation. Fuzzy AHP model to compute weights proposed select suited design. case study also practically validated scenario.
